Synthesis, characterization and microwave properties of strontium hexaferrite thin films prepared by chemical bath deposition

▸ Strontium hexaferrite thin films were successfully deposited on alumina by chemical bath deposition technique for the first time. ▸ For the first time it was observed that, the highly dense (synthesis pH 10) strontium hexaferrite thin films can be used as microwave transmitting material. ▸ These thin films also have very high microwave dielectric constant and very low loss.
