Synthesis and enhanced photocatalytic property of feather-like Cd-doped CuO nanostructures by hydrothermal method

- Feather-like nanostructures can be obtained by doping Cd2+ in CuO nanosheets.
- Cd-doped CuO has much higher absorption in UV region.
- Cd2+ doping can lead to a remarkable improvement in photocatalytic activity.
