Fullerene C70 decorated TiO2 nanowires for visible-light-responsive photocatalyst

- TiO2 nanowire decorated with C60 and C70 derivatives has been synthesized.
- The fullerenes impede the charge recombination due to its high electron affinity.
- The fullerenes expand the utilization of solar light from UV to visible light.
- The modified-TiO2 has great biocompatibility.
