Graphene-nickel composites

► Graphene/nickel composites were produced through electrodeposition. ► Graphene influenced the preferred orientation of Ni growth in the composites. ► A significant improvement in the thermal conductivity of the composites was found. ► Hardness value of the composites was almost 4-fold higher than that of pure Ni.
