Preparation and characterization of SnS nanocrystals by a triethanolamine-assisted diethylene glycol solution synthesis

► We prepared SnS nanocrystals by ambient pressure solution chemical synthesis. ► ZB and OR phases of SnS can be controlled by varying TEA amounts in DEG solvent. ► Basic characterization data of ZB and OR SnS nanocrystals were described by XRD, FESEM, EDS, FETEM and UV-vis-NIR.
