Removal of copper ions from aqueous solution by adsorption onto novel polyelectrolyte film-coated nanofibrous silk fibroin non-wovens

- Polyethylenimine coated silk fibroin nanofibrous nonwovens were fabricated.
- The characteristics such as the fiber shape and porous structure were well maintained.
- The structure and adsorption properties were studied. The adsorption property for copper ions is good.
