Ohmic contacts to p-GaP/n-ZnO core/shell nanowires based on Au metallization

► We report ohmic contacts to p-GaP/n-ZnO core/shell nanowires with radial pn heterojunction. ► The ohmic contacts were prepared using e-beam lithography and lift-off technique. ► ZnO shell was removed by wet chemical etching in KOH.
