Electrophoretic deposition of bioactive glass coating on 316L stainless steel and electrochemical behavior study

► Bioactive glass (BG) particles were synthesized by a sol-gel process. ► Stable suspension of BG powders in ethanol solvent was prepared. ► Electrophoretic deposition process was used for coating bio active glass particles. ► Electrochemical behavior, cycle polarization and impedance spectroscopy of the composite coating was studied.
