Supercritical carbon dioxide-assisted preparation of palladium nanoparticles on cyclotriphosphazene-containing polymer nanospheres

► PZS nanospheres as metal nanoparticle stabilizer were synthesized facilely. ► PdCl2 was reduced in situ by ethanol in the condition of SC CO2. ► Pd nanoparticle size on the PZS nanoparticles could be controlled.
