Low-temperature liquid phase deposited TiO2 films on stainless steel for photogenerated cathodic protection applications

► Anatase TiO2 films were obtained on 304SS without post-annealing treatment. ► The LPD-derived TiO2 films were crack-free. ► The TiO2 film exhibited an effective photogenerated cathodic protection for 304SS.
