Functional and unmodified MWNTs for delivery of the water-insoluble drug Carvedilol - A drug-loading mechanism

► We use MWNTs and functional MWNTs to use as a drug delivery system to load with a poorly water-soluble drug. ► We used three methods to load the model drug. ► We studied the drug loading mechanism through many detection means. ► The drug loading capacity and the solubility of the drug were improved by MWNTs and functional MWNTs.
