Facile synthesis of CdS/C core-shell nanospheres with ultrathin carbon layer for enhanced photocatalytic properties and stability

Uniform CdS/C core-shell nanospheres with several nanometers in thickness for carbon shell have been synthesized successfully; which show enhanced photocatalytic activities than single-component counterparts (CdS nanospheres).
