Cleavable porous silicon based hybrid material for pre-enrichment of trace heavy metal ions

► Cleavable groups was successfully graft on porous silicon surface. ► The hybrid possessed a similar preferential adsorption trend for studied metal ions. ► At pH = 5.0, the most efficient pre-enrichment for Cd was obtained.
