Effect of various lanthanum sol-gel coatings on the 330Cb (Fe-35Ni-18Cr-1Nb-2Si) oxidation at 900 °C

► We studied the influence of lanthanum sol-gel coatings on a 330Cb alloy oxidation at 900 °C, in air. ► Kinetic results show that coatings lead to a lower oxidation rates. ► Thermal cycling tests show that the oxide scale is adherent on coated specimens.
