Fabrication of superhydrophobic wood surfaces via a solution-immersion process

► Potassium methyl siliconate was utilized to fabricate superhydrophobic wood surface. ► The method involves a hydrogen bond assembly and a polycondensation process. ► The wood surface was superhydrophobic with water contact angle larger than 150°.
