Photoresponse properties of ultrathin Bi2Se3 nanosheets synthesized by hydrothermal intercalation and exfoliation route

Ultrathin Bi2Se3 nanosheets were successfully prepared via simple top-down intercalation and exfoliation route. The as-prepared Bi2Se3 nanosheets have shown excellent photoresponse properties with very fast response time, superior current responsivity and external quantum efficiency, which indicate that they may have a great potential application in photo detectors.
