Construction of superhydrophobic and superoleophilic nickel foam for separation of water and oil mixture

- A superhydrophobic film with nanowire structure was fabricated on nickel foam surface.
- Obtained nickel foam indicated both superhydrophobic and superoleophilic property.
- The as-prepared nickel foam showed excellent oil/water separation property.
