Multifractal analysis of the tensile fracture morphology of polyvinylidene chloride/glass fiber composite

▶ The fracture surfaces for PVDC/GF composite were analyzed by multifractal formalism. ▶ It shows that the morphology is dependent on the mechanical properties. ▶ The multifractal spectrum could characterize this relationships quantitatively. ▶ Also, the tensile fracture is the result of the competition between ductile and brittle fracture.
