Synthesis and photoluminescence of semiconductor quantum dots/cetyltrimethylammonium bromide vesicle core/shell nanostructures

- The quantum dots serve as nucleation cores for the vesicles.
- The Coulomb force between the molecules and the quantum dots drives the synthesis.
- The core/shell structures exhibit near-UV photoluminescence.
