Effect of annealing temperature on PL spectrum and surface morphology of zinc oxide thin films

► ZnO thin films produced by thermal oxidation of Zn layers. ► Zn deposited on Si substrate by magnetron sputtering. ► Surface roughness and particle size increased with annealing temperature. ► Samples which were annealed at different temperatures seem suitable for tribological applications.
