Photoactivity and stability of Ag2WO4 for organic degradation in aqueous suspensions

Both α- and β-Ag2WO4 are photoactive for organic degradation in aqueous solutions, and β-Ag2WO4 is more active than α-Ag2WO4 under UV light, but both the catalysts are not stable against photodecomposition to form metallic silver particles.
