Evaluation of copper ion of antibacterial effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhimurium and Helicobacter pylori and optical, mechanical properties

► Copper sol was coated on glass substrate by spin coating method. ► Copper ion coated glass demonstrated 99.9% of antibacterial effect. ► Transmittance of silver ion coated glass was 90.02%. ► Mechanical property of glass substrate was enhanced by copper ion coating.
