Influence of NiO anode buffer layer prepared by solution on performance of bulk-heterojunction solar cells

► Performances of BHJ solar cells using NiO films prepared by solution are discussed. ► NiO film thickness and crystalline phase affect the properties of solar cells. ► BHJ solar cells with 20-nm-thick nc-NiO film show best photovoltaic characteristics.
