Fabrication of superhydrophobicity on cotton fabric by sol-gel

► A superhydrophobic cotton fabric was prepared by dip-coating and surface modification. ► Contact angle on this film is about 151̊and the glide angle is less than 20°. ► Surface roughness and low surface energy play crucial role in the formation of superhydrophobicity.
