One-pot aqueous synthesis of near infrared emitting PbS quantum dots

► L-Cysteine capped PbS QDs were first successfully synthesized in aqueous solution. ► The synthesized PbS QDs exhibit higher photoluminescent intensity. ► The PbS QDs were still keeping highly PL properties in different environment.
