Synthesis and performance of core-shell structured ZnO/In2O3 composites in situ growth

► In2O3/ZnO composites were successfully synthesized via situ growth method. ► HMTA played an important role in the morphology and agglomeration of composites. ► The possible formation mechanism was also proposed based on the experimental results. ► The addition of In2O3 had a great effect on PL spectrum.
