Synthesis of C, Ag co-modified TiO2 photocatalyst and its application in waste water purification

► TiO2 were co-modified by C and Ag and applied for the photocatalytic degradation of Rh B. ► The cooperation effect between C and Ag increased the light response of TiO2. ► Photocalytic activity of the TiO2 was greatly enhanced due to the modification. ► The materials reveal a high photocatalytic activity than the pure and Ag-TiO2.
