Microstructure changes of polyimide/MMT-AlN composite hybrid films under corona aging

► Polyimide/MMT-AlN films were achieved by in situ polymerization process. ► Microstructure of films was greatly affected by the lamellar and globular structure of particles. ► The PI/MMT-AlN film with dense block layer appeared enhanced electrical properties.
