Ultraviolet photodetectors based on ZnO sheets: The effect of sheet size on photoresponse properties

► UV photodetectors were fabricated based on ZnO sheet thin film. ► The sheets were grown on a ZnO buffer layer instead of expensive conducting substrates such as FTO. ► It was shown that photodetection properties strongly depend on the size of sheets. ► Using comb-like electrode leads to faster response of the device.
