Influence of plasma treatment time on plasma induced vapor phase grafting modification of PBO fiber surface

► Oxygen plasma induced vapor phase grafting of acrylic acid on PBO fibers. ► The interfacial adhesion between PBO fibers and epoxy resin was enhanced by plasma induced vapor phase grafting (PIVPG) method. ► The time of plasma pre-treatment has an obviously influence on the surface properties of treated PBO fibers using PIVPG method.
