Electrodeposition of silver nanoparticle arrays on ITO coated glass and their application as reproducible surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrate

► In this study, a double-potentiostatic method is used for preparation of dense and uniform silver nanoparticle arrays. ► The silver nanoparticle arrays contain large amount of hot spots. ► As-deposited samples exhibit significant SERS effect with excellent reproducibility.
