Effect of medium dielectric constant on the physical properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes

► We studied the properties of semiconducting SWNTs in different media. ► We found a redshift of the photoluminescence with the increase of the dielectric constant. ► The fluorescence efficiency of carbon nanotubes is depend on the chirality.
