NO+NH3 reaction over polycrystalline Pt: Numerical analysis of spatio-temporal data and evidence of non-linear behavior

► Global (QMS) and local (PEEM) time series for ammonia oxidation were processed. ► The LFI mechanism (providing coverages and reaction rate t-evolution) was confirmed. ► The three fundamental variables where founded via Grassberger-Procaccia algorithm. ► Surrogate test was applied to time series, and first evidence for the non-linear nature of system time evolution was founded.
