Rate coefficients for electron impact excitation of the a3Î state of CO

► Electron impact excitation of the a3Π state of CO have been investigated. ► Integral cross sections for the a3Π state of CO have been determined. ► We have calculated rate coefficients for excitation of the a3Π state of CO. ► Calculations are performed both for equilibrium and non-equilibrium conditions.
