Electron scattering in a helium Debye plasma

► Cross sections for electron scattering off helium in a Debye plasma are presented for excitation and ionization from the ground state. ► The Debye-Huckel potential substantially effects all levels of the helium atom except the ground state. ► Generally, a rather weak dependence of the presented cross sections was found for D = 10.
