Protonated salicylaldehyde: Electronic properties

► We report the vibrationally resolved electronic spectrum of protonated salicylaldehyde. ► The ground and excited states of the 15 possible isomers have been calculated. ► Among these 15 isomers, only three may contribute to the observed spectrum. ► Franck-Condon simulations discriminate the isomer responsible for the observed spectrum.
