Morphological and electrical characteristics of amino acid-AuNP nanostructured two-dimensional ensembles

The interaction between l-cysteine and l-lysine with gold nanoparticle layers was investigated. Attaching amino acids to the surface of nanoparticles layers induced a morphology change with improved electrical conduction.
