Light-scattering anomaly in the vicinity of liquid-vapor critical point of multicomponent mixtures

► Static light scattering was studied in the near-critical ternary liquid mixture. ► The critical point in mixture is liquid-vapour critical point. ► Intensity was measured along isochores in one- and two-phase regions. ► Data were analysed on the basis of recently developed equation of state. ► There is a good agreement between the data and the theory.
