Phase effects in double ionization by strong short pulses

Double ionization of helium-like atoms by strong single cycle pulses in reduced dimensionality quantum model. Influence of phase relation between the carrier wave and the envelope of the pulse on the total ionization yield, ion and electron momentum distributions is discussed.
