Effect of temperature and O2 pressure on the gaseous species produced during combustion of aluminum

⿢We model the gas phase composition of aluminum combustion under different oxygen pressures and temperatures.⿢AlO predominates at 1200⿿2200 °C temperature range.⿢Al2O predominates at higher temperatures.⿢We investigate the stability of main neutral gas phase species upon ionization to revisit mass spectrometry experiments.
