Formation of Ag nanoparticles on metastable β-Ag2WO4 microcrystals induced by electron irradiation

⿢Metastable β-Ag2WO4 was prepared at room temperature by an easy precipitation method.⿢None surfactants were used in the synthesis of this metastable phase.⿢In situ Ag evolution on the surface induced by electron beam irradiation is reported for first time.⿢Subsequent reabsorption of Ag on the surface of this metastable phase was observed.
