چکیده انگلیسی

- A laser desorption method was employed in the gas phase study of I3C.
- REMPI and UV-UV hole-burning spectra of indole-3-carbinol (I3C) were measured.
- The IR frequencies of I3C-a and -b from harmonic calculations showed no difference.
- Anharmonic calculations showed different IR frequency patterns of the I3C conformers.
- Franck-Condon simulations provided a conclusive assignment of the observed conformer.
