Synthesis, growth, vibrational spectral investigations and structure-property relationship of an organic NLO crystal: 3,4-Dimethoxy chalcone

Single crystals of 3,4-dimethoxy chalcone have been grown by slow evaporation method. The natural bond orbital analysis explains the charge transfer interactions within the molecule.
