Fluorescence and phosphorescence of lutetium(III) and gadolinium(III) porphyrins for the intraratiometric oxygen sensing

- Photophysical parameters of Lu and Gd porphyrins in solutions were determined.
- All the studied species enable the intraratiometric oxygen sensing.
- Lu porphyrins seem to be proper for low oxygen concentration studies.
- Gd porphyrins could determine the oxygen better in high oxygen concentrations.
- The most suitable species for oxygen sensing are those based on TBP ligand.
