Surface-enhanced Raman scattering investigations of C2nH2 (n = 4-6) in as-prepared and dried Ag colloid

- The Raman intensity and position of polyyne's α band change significantly as the silver colloid runs dry.
- There may be a process of Ag-C8-H mode turning to Ag-C8-Ag mode after the Ag colloid dried.
- C10H2 and C12H2 chains may turn to other carbon chains, as a result of the interaction with the aggregated silver colloid.
