Encapsulation of paramagnetic diatomic molecules B2, O2 and Ge2 inside C60

While O2 and B2 remain paramagnetic on encapsulation in a fullerene cage, Ge2 undergoes a spin cross over as it rotates within the cage, because of interaction with the orbitals of fullerene.
