On the stability of the cyclic O8 molecule

- O8 isomers were studied at the MP2 and CCSD/aug-cc-pVnZ levels.
- Complete basis set limits are provided for geometry and energies.
- The new O8 symmetric crown lies 104 kcal/mol above the 4O2 fragments.
