Mechanistic study of synthesis of gold nanoparticles using multi-functional polymer

The size, size distribution, and stability of the highly concentrated Au nanoparticles synthesized when reacting HAuCl4 with BPEI as a capping agent and reducing agent were easily controlled when varying the experimental conditions, including the BPEI/HAuCl4 ratio, reaction temperature, and initial pH of the solution.
