Dynamical properties of physically adsorbed water molecules at the TiO2 rutile-(1Â 1Â 0) surface

- Water molecules were almost parallel to the surface.
- Coupling of ∼110 and 220 cm−1 between water and Ti and bridging oxygen atoms.
- Stable hydrogen bonds with stretch frequencies around 835-920 cm−1.
- Oxygen-vacancies weakened hydrogen bonding between water and bridging oxygens.
