An ab initio study of electric properties of linear (HCN)N and (HNC)N aggregates in gas phase

- MP2 electric properties of long linear chains of HCN and HNC are presented.
- The first hyperpolarizability is affected by the structural isomerization of HCN.
- All electric properties per unit converge toward the values of the polymer chains.
